To honor the people who shape the design industry today, every year ELLE Decoration International holds an election to find the most outstanding designs in each different category.

Young design talent of the year
&New is a brand built by two designers Jo Wilton and Mirka Grohn.
Bathroom products
This time the award for bathroom equipment design went to designers Edward Barber & Jay Osgerby with the Axor One shower control product with modern beauty and personality.
This talented designer duo is famous for their talent of integrating curves into a square overall in a very harmonious way, so Axor One was created with a strong beauty but not at all rough.
Bedroom products
The bed named Majal by Flou brought designer Carlo Colombo the win in the `Bedroom Products` category of EDIDA 2016. The head of the bed is designed in the shape of uniquely assembled geometric blocks.
Kitchen products
Moving to the kitchen category, the award went to an Asian designer: Tokujin Yoshioka (Japan) with the Fitnese kitchen product for Tokyo Kitchen Style, a multi-tasking kitchen island, integrating many functions.
Projector lamp design
The unique Superloon lamp, which recreates the round, mirror-like image of the moon, won the award in the Lighting category for designer Jasper Morrison.
Seat design
This EDIDA 2016 seating design award goes to the Targa sofa created by GamFratesi for Gebrüder Thonet Vienna.
Product for dining table use
Hermès’ Voyage en Ikat product set was honored with this tableware design award.
Wall tiles
In the category for wall decoration products this time, Numi for Konstantin Grcic for Mutina excellently won the championship prize.
Exterior
With the Palissade collection for Hay, once again, the Bouroulle brothers were honored at EDIDA 2016. This product set has a surface made up of sparse, evenly assembled metal bars.
Flooring products
This award category belongs to Cement tiles designed by India Mahdavi for Bisazza.
Fabric material
EDIDA 2016 chose the workshop named Kvadrat/Raf Simons collection of designer Rafs Simons to receive the best award for the category `Fabric – Fabric`.
Interior
EDIDA 2016 decided to award an important interior award to two talented designer brothers Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec with the Kaari collection for Artek, created from the most basic elements for furniture such as table legs.
