It is known that Nguyet was previously a basketball player, why did she switch to archery?

Previously, I played basketball. After a while, the basketball coach saw that my potential was more suitable for archery, because I developed better individuality than teamwork.

Actually, I chose archery for no reason other than sentiment.

Before becoming an athlete, did you ever dream of becoming someone else?

My dream is very normal, just try to graduate from high school and get into college first.

How is your training regimen and intensity in the team? Are you under pressure?

I’ve never felt like I’ve overtrained.

Even though the coaches have high expectations, their opinion is that they must be in a comfortable mood to perform at their best.

At Nguyet’s age, other girls can go to school, go out, date, dream, wear beautiful clothes and live virtual lives… But you only stick to training and competition clothes all year round, has Nguyet ever felt like

For many people, archery is a cool sport, mostly for men because it requires players to have high technical skills and a good physical foundation.

As a young girl, are you worried about your appearance and skin being affected in a harsh training environment?

If you say no, then you’re lying, because Vietnamese girls don’t want beautiful, bright pink skin, right?

For you, is achievement first and foremost?

Achievement is not everything, but for us, when we have determined to pursue a sports career and have the honor of being on the team, we always set goals and strive to achieve them.

As athletes, playing for the national team, injuries are something we always worry about and try our best not to encounter.

The lifespan of an athlete to compete is not long, are you afraid if one day your sports career slows down?

In sports, there will be times to go up and times to go down.

Will you do what you want or listen to the advice of others?

Of course I will do what I want, because I think that by then, I will be mature and confident enough to know what to do.

What are the upcoming goals you set for yourself?

The recent epidemic affected us a lot because domestic and international competition schedules were postponed or potentially completely canceled.
