With the theme Heavenly Bodies – Fashion and Catholic Imagination, Rihanna turned to creative director John Galliano, Maison Margiela brand and stylist Mel Ottenberg to prepare outfits for the 2018 Met Gala red carpet.
At this event many years ago, the female singer made a big splash and seemed `unrivaled` in establishing her impressive and unique personality.

Designer Tom Ford also revealed to Rihanna’s stylist that she was the image of the woman he wanted to see in this design.

When Rihanna learned about the theme of the Met Gala in 2015, she immediately contacted Mel and asked him to find a way to help her wear clothes from fashion house Guo Pei.
Helping the female singer move to the red carpet and throughout the event was also a `difficult` challenge, but the final result made the whole team’s dedication truly worth it.

Rihanna’s outfit was completed with a hair accessory also from Guo Pei’s collection, a bustier top in a fuchsia purple tone that matched the lining of the gown.
Designer Guo Pei herself also shared that this is a memorable milestone in her career, as well as making the Chinese fashion industry feel extremely proud.
