ELLE: The Thom Browne brand just had a famous show at the Opéra Garnier, Paris, during Haute Couture Week Fall/Winter 2023. C.Dam brought the collection to the Hanoi Opera House, what can you learn from it?
To be honest, when watching Thom Browne’s show recently, Cuong and the team had a `froze`.

ELLE: Is Hanoi Opera House a place that has never held a fashion show?
One of C.Dam’s core values is contrast, which is shown quite clearly in his debut collection `INFLOWING`.
Hanoi Opera House is a prominent historical and cultural location that C.Dam placed into futuristic inspiration.

ELLE: The open letter you sent sounds very interesting and promises a new show.
“Educated rebel” This phrase gives the impression that the upcoming show will be very open and bustling.
`Rebellion` for Cuong does not necessarily have a bad meaning, it is a state of being ready to break out of old patterns to find a new, separate universe.
The RENDEZVOUS collection will be C.Dam’s transformation collection into streetwear style.
“Educated rebel” – “future haunting the past” – “ultimate seeker” are all taglines that people can imagine about C.Dam’s difference in the pulse of streetwear!

ELLE: Cuong often shares Vietnamese inspiration through collections.
Vietnameseness is deeply ingrained in Cuong’s subconscious and thinking, this can be seen through many collections of both CHATS and C.Dam.
The collection focuses on streetwear quality and still has a hint of Vietnamese inspiration.
ELLE: The 2022 INFLOWING collection has left an impression on the Vietnamese fashion world. What kind of pressure does Cuong face with this year’s RENDEZVOUS?
During the past 365 days since INFLOWING ended, Cuong has never put pressure on himself.
