In 2017, 70 famous hotel brands from 14 different countries applied to participate in the awards.
Mr. Nguyen Cong Chung – Executive Chef at Sheraton Hanoi Hotel – Best Chef in Asia 2017.
This year’s 24 award winners were awarded prestigious logos from one of six judges along with a representative from partner companies.
Mr. Nguyen Cong Chung, General Chef at Sheraton Hanoi Hotel, was honored to win the Best Chef Asia award in 2017. Mr. Nguyen Cong Chung is also the first Vietnamese chef to be appointed to the position of General Manager.
Selected from hundreds of candidates who are hotel chefs in Asia, 5 chefs were nominated for the final list.
The BMW Hotelier Awards celebrate the achievements of the most talented and hard-working candidates in the rapid development of the hotel industry. They are an inspiration for many young people about to enter the industry.
