The goal of the competition is to create another high-quality annual activity, while building the brand `Heritage Photography Award – Heritage Journey` into a prestigious competition for the field of journalistic photography.
Over the years of organization, the `Heritage Photography Award – Heritage Journey` has become increasingly attractive, attracting the attention and participation of professional and amateur photographers through hundreds of photo sets with many topics.
The Round 5 preliminary judging round received a large participation from authors across the country, with 83 photos competing in the SINGLE PHOTO category and 26 sets of photos competing in the PHOTO SET category.
At the end of Round 5, the jury judged the following categories:
– Photo Set category: First prize was awarded to the set of works `Straw and Cow Festival` by author Pham Anh.
Straw buffalo festival.
Hoi An tile roof.
Bac Son.
– Single Photo Category: First prize was awarded to the work `Exchange` by author Nguyen Xuan Chinh.
After the preliminary results of Round 5, the jury continued to judge the works that made it to the year-end Final to find the best Set and Single Photos with the following results:

– Photo Set category: Special prize was awarded to the set of works `Straw and Cow Festival` by author Pham Anh.
– Single Photo Category: After reviewing and evaluating the best photos from the Preliminary rounds in 2015, the Jury decided not to award the Single Photo Category due to not being able to find a suitable photo.
The year-end summary exhibition of `Photography Awards – Heritage Journey 2015` was held from December 15-21, 2015 at the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum, 66 Nguyen Thai Hoc, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi.
