(Dan Tri) – Several videos recorded the moment Russian military blogger Vladlen Tatarsky opened a gift package suspected of containing explosives that killed him in St Petersburg on April 2.

At the time of the incident, blogger Tatarsky was meeting and talking with his supporters.

A video appeared on social networks showing Tatarsky and another man unwrapping a gift and examining an object believed to be a golden bust.
Another video, apparently recorded by a street surveillance camera, shows the suspicious woman entering the cafe with a box before giving it to Tatarsky.

`This woman sat at our table. I saw her from behind as she turned away. When she gave the statue to Vladlen, she sat somewhere else near the window and left the phone unattended.`

Russia’s Interfax news agency, citing a source close to St Petersburg law enforcement, said that Darya Trepova, 26, was arrested by police on charges of involvement in the explosion that killed military blogger Vladlen Tatarsky.
According to Interfax, female suspect Trepova most likely hid a device containing about 200g of TNT explosives inside the statue and brought it to the Street Bar 1 cafe.
The explosion also caused a large area of the Street Bar 1 cafe to collapse.

Vladlen Tatarsky, 41 years old, real name Maxim Fomin, is a famous Russian military blogger with 560,000 followers on the social networking platform Telegram.
Since the Russia-Ukraine conflict broke out, Tatarsky has continuously written articles expressing support for Moscow’s special military campaign.
Tatarsky has recently regularly updated information about the war situation in Donbass as well as participated in writing many books about the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
